The Animation Production Survival Guide: Now online!

After chipping away at it in secret for months, based on an idea I had when I first started working, this is now finally public.

In laimen's terms this is a mostly clean "notebook" of mine that I've used to understand animation concepts. I will likely be editing this to add or refine details, because I am still not an expert and I only have limited experience and animation production (specially from the perspective of being a PA) is a huge umbrella.

If that sounds good to you, click here or on the picture of Deku to go straight to the document! If you want more info, keep reading.

The type of person that I've been since I was a child (a nerd that was always interested in the behind the scenes segments of cartoons) led me to being who I am now, and while learning on the job is imperative there's a lot that I did wish I knew prior. I know there are other resources out there for animation production (some paid, some are textbooks, some are classes) and this is just me putting my notes out there for free, as I think my perspective could help people who are trying to break in or are new to the industry.

Since Bluesky specifically is very active with others in the industry, I hope anyone who knows more than me will let me know if any corrections need to be made! Or if anyone has a suggestion on a new entry to include in this guide, reach out!
